Most gated community security plans are written around a typical weekday. Summer is not a typical weekday.
Residents host relatives for extended stays, invite friends for pool weekends, and hold graduation and holiday parties that put twenty vehicles at the gate inside an hour. Very few of those visits get called in ahead of time.
